For the very first time, Croxley was proud to partner with Rethaka and fill 100 Repurpose Schoolbags with assorted stationery items donated to Keketso Primary School in Katlehong.

Manufactured by Rethaka, Repurpose Schoolbags are made from 100% recycled shopping plastic bags and incorporates a solar panel to charge on a child’s long walk to and from school then transforms into a light for the child to study at night.

Now children can carry their books in an eco-friendly, durable and trendy schoolbag that heightens their visibility on the road to motorists with the integration of retro-reflective material. With an acute focus on child safety, Repurpose Schoolbags enable children to walk safely to and from school and then complete their homework at night safely without the use of alternative hazardous lighting.

100 underprivileged kids at Keketso Primary School now have a beautiful Repurpose Schoolbag filled with Croxley stationery to CREATE their very best in class and at home.

This is just the beginning of a partnership between Croxley and Rethaka, and we hope to continue filling up more Repurpose Schoolbags in a quest to make an even greater contribution to an underprivileged child’s life. With this partnership we endeavour to increase Croxley’s visibility and reinforce the brands commitment to offering stationery to all, even those who cannot afford it. Rethaka aims to take Repurpose Schoolbags to 24 African countries and Croxley is on board.
