From 31 July- 2 August 2015, THRASS spent three days at the SA Book Fair at Turbine Hall in Newtown, where the meeting of authors, song writers, book store owners, librarians, schools, including the Department of Education officials, made the networking session invaluable.

Carol Kersten  (Author of the Readers) spent the morning at the Fair, while Wendy Barker (THRASS Consultant) shared her expertise and enthusiasm with many interested educators and parents.

Book store owners from Mpumalanga, Ghana, Zambia and teachers of adult foreign languages throughout Africa were in attendance, including Derek Moodley, a CES Curriculam Co- ordinator who spent  a considerable amount of time at the stand.

There was plenty of positive comments and feedback from visitors who came to the Book Fair and American student teachers who asked for samples of our readers.

The optimism in education was mind blowing; the Book Fair was certainly worthwhile!
